Cancellation & refunds
We follow the refund thresholds set by Korean law. Please read before enrolling.
The short version
- 1. If you have not started, we refund in full within 7 days.
- 2. Once you have started, we refund everything except the part you used.
- 3. Refunds are processed within 3 business days of your request.
1. Cooling-off period (청약철회) — before you start
If you request within 7 days of payment and you have not opened any lesson, we refund the fee in full, without asking for a reason. No cancellation penalty or damages are charged.
For in-person courses, a full refund applies at any time before the start date.

2. Online courses (after you start)
We refund the fee already paid, less the portion you have actually studied.

Opening a lesson counts as using it — even if you leave the screen running. That is what the law says.
Where the table above and a straight deduction for the lessons you actually opened differ, we use whichever refunds you more.

3. In-person courses (after it begins)
The same three thresholds apply. For in-person courses, the «portion used» is calculated as the hours elapsed out of the total course hours.

4. If we cannot run the course
If a course is cancelled or we cannot run it, we refund the entire remaining amount regardless of how much you used. The thresholds above do not apply.
5. How and when you are refunded
- · Contact us using the details below. Once the online classroom opens you will be able to request it from My classroom.
- · Processed within 3 business days of your request.
- · Card payments are voided; your bank may take a few more days to show it.
- · If you received a tax invoice we also issue a revised tax invoice.
6. After a certificate is issued
Once you have met the requirements and a certificate has been issued, no refund is available — the purpose of the course has already been achieved.

These rules are based on the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률), the Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Establishment and Operation of Private Teaching Institutes, Annex 4 (학원의 설립·운영 및 과외교습에 관한 법률 시행령 [별표 4]), the Enforcement Decree of the Lifelong Education Act, Annex 3 (평생교육법 시행령 [별표 3]) and the Fair Trade Commission’s Consumer Dispute Resolution Criteria (소비자분쟁해결기준). Where the law is amended, the amended criteria apply.
