New-standard courses — training exemption based on experience and expertise
When a new standard is published, no organisation is yet able to run a 20 man-day auditor training course. ITS therefore verifies each learner's experience and expertise and exempts them from the training course.
- 1Submit your work experience related to the standard (42001 · 53001) to the certification body (ITS).
- 2It is reviewed against ITS competence criteria for that standard.
- 3The verifying auditor's judgement decides final approval.

When you finish
- · You can sit the ISO Lead Auditor qualification exam.
- · You meet the requirements to register as an auditor with a certification body.
- · Meet the requirements and a certificate is issued.

- Progress
- Watch at least 80% of the course
- Exam
- 70 or more out of 100 (up to 3 attempts)
- Certificate
- Issued once you qualify and staff have checked it
