Terms of Use

These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the website operated by 주식회사 아이티에스인증원 (Intelligence Technology Standard Inc., “the Company”), and the rights and obligations of the Company and of you, the user.

The Company provides the following through this website.

• · Information about certification schemes and the certification process
• · Receipt of requests for a certification quotation
• · Verification of certified clients and of auditor qualifications
• · Information about training courses and course enrolment
• · Notices, downloads and other information

The Company uses generative artificial intelligence to assist staff in handling enquiries and drafting notices. Which model is used, and what information reaches it, is set out in Article 4-1 of the Privacy Policy.

• · AI produces drafts only. Every reply and notice sent to you is reviewed and edited by a member of staff first. AI never sends anything on its own.
• · AI plays no part in certification decisions. Audit outcomes, certificate issue and appeals are decided by qualified auditors and staff (ISO/IEC 17021-1).
• · Wherever AI-written text is shown as it stands, it is labelled as generated by AI.
• · Sensitive details such as resident registration and bank account numbers are masked before anything reaches the AI.

A quotation request made through this website is not a contract. The Company reviews your request and replies with a quotation setting out the audit days and the fee. A certification contract is formed only when you accept the quotation and return the signed and sealed certification agreement.

A certified organisation may use the certification mark and the accreditation mark in accordance with the rules set by the Company. Where certification is suspended, withdrawn or has expired, use must stop immediately. If this is breached, the Company may require correction or suspend the certification.

Copyright in the text, images and materials published on this website belongs to the Company or to the rightful owner. They may not be copied, distributed or transmitted without the Company’s prior consent.

The Company does not distribute the text of ISO standards, which are protected by copyright. Standards must be purchased from an authorised distributor.

• · Submitting false information when requesting a quotation or certification
• · Forging a certificate or certification mark, or using one without authority
• · Interfering with the normal operation of this website
• · Using another person’s information

The Company is not liable where it cannot provide the service for reasons outside its control, such as natural disaster or communications failure. The Company is not liable for the results of applying general information published on this website; specific matters are governed by the certification contract.

Complaints or appeals about our service may be submitted through Contact us. An appeal against a certification decision is reviewed by persons who did not take part in that audit. Where a dispute cannot be resolved by agreement, the court with jurisdiction over the Company’s registered office shall have jurisdiction.

The Company may amend these terms where necessary. We will post a notice on this website at least 7 days before an amendment takes effect. Where an amendment is unfavourable to users, we will give 30 days’ notice.
